Comment period end date: 08/12/2024
Scope
This document specifies the vocabulary for the ISO 23726 series.
The following are outside the scope of this document:
– OWL classes, properties and relationship of ISO 23726.
– Reference data items of ISO 23726.
Purpose
Industrial automation systems and integration – Ontology based interoperability – Part 2: Vocabulary aims at consolidating the vocabulary terms of the parts of the ISO 23726 series. Having a single vocabulary will eliminate terms duplication and reduce the effort and time required to manage and develop parts of the ISO 23726 series.
For the correct interpretation and understanding of the ISO 23726 series these definitions are normative. Terms and abbreviations that are either specific to the series or require explanation because of the way they are being used are supplied.
