Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) is pleased to welcome the MTA Cluster to their next Engineering & Manufacturing Forum to be held at the GMCC in Manchester on the 15th March 2024 from 0900 – 1100.
The North-West’s Aerospace and Defence industry plays a critical role in strengthening the regional economy, supporting high-quality job opportunities and ensuring the UK’s national security. UK Defence supports 16,000 North-West jobs and spends £2.5 billion in the region annually.
Engineering & Manufacturing firms working in Defence across Greater Manchester are undertaking multi-million-pound investments to support their growing workforces and increase the effectiveness of their supply chain, working closely with wider industry and academia.
The North-West will continue to be a prominent base for the UK defence sector, with many organisations tackling skills shortages head on – inspiring the next generation of Engineers and responding to new threats to our national security.
