To begin today’s newsletter, I would like to introduce you to a MTA membership benefit. The Export Control Joint Unit (ECJU) is now taking bookings for our standard training events for strategic export controls in the following locations, starting the 5th of September in Edinburgh and running through to December 2022 in London. Half-way through the Conservative Party’s eight-week contest to decide who will be its new leader and the UK’s new prime minister, it seems that manufacturing has not been referred to, at least by the two remaining candidates. This week, Truss was at Reliance Precision in Huddersfield, a leading advanced engineering and manufacturing firm working in many sectors. The Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) are working with the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) to promote British companies at IMTEX 2023, from 19 – 25 January, 2023 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bengaluru.
