Good morning and welcome to this week’s Friday Brief! With storm Eunice hitting the UK today, we hope you are all staying safe and only going out when you must!

We’d like to begin this week’s newsletter with some exciting news regarding our MACH Exhibition taking place from April 4th – 8th. The MTA is delighted to announce a programme of high-profile speakers from across the manufacturing technologies spectrum. The speakers have been selected to offer valuable insight into latest developments across this important sector and to provide intuitive market intelligence to the thousands of people expected to visit the UK’s national manufacturing show. The Department for Education has embarked on its annual listing of apprenticeship employers in England. Firms are asked to complete a short survey, which asks about apprenticeship numbers and levels, and diversity according to sex, age, ethnicity and learning or other disabilities. Check out the links to enter and find out the 2 categories below.

IFATE is gathering apprentices’ views of apprenticeships and the survey is open to those who are either working towards or have recently completed an apprenticeship standard in England.   The survey covers eight themes. Check out more below.
