This Christmas, the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) has joined forces with The Children’s Hospital Charity for the 20th Anniversary of their Snowflake Appeal initiative. Through this partnership, MTA members are invited to sponsor a Snowflake, symbolising their commitment to funding a brighter future in children’s healthcare.
Every year, The Children’s Hospital Charity unveils a bright array of magical Snowflakes across South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. Each Snowflake has been kindly ‘sponsored’ by businesses like yours looking to do their bit to help the charity provide invaluable medical care for our children.
The funds raised by this year’s Snowflake Appeal will go towards building the National Centre for Child Healthcare Technology (NCCHT), a new cutting-edge facility at Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park. This groundbreaking centre will focus on developing child health technologies and addressing critical health challenges.
Each Snowflake sponsorship not only supports the future of children’s healthcare but also offers sponsors unique benefits, including an invitation to the Switch-On event on November 26th and visibility through marketing resources. This event will bring together MTA members and supporters for an evening of inspiration, celebration, and goodwill.
The NCCHT will be at the forefront of medical innovation, bringing together experts across fields like AI, robotics, and augmented reality to tackle pressing healthcare needs. Businesses across South Yorkshire and beyond are encouraged to participate by sponsoring a Snowflake and contributing to a revolutionary initiative that will shape the future of children’s healthcare in the UK.
Members can participate in the Snowflake Appeal through a simple, three-step process:
- Scan the QR code or visit The Children’s Hospital Charity’s website to access the Snowflake registration form.
- Fill out your details and select “Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park G1 Building (MTA)” as the location for your Snowflake.
- Personalise your tag, complete your payment, and prepare to see your Snowflake lit up at the grand Switch-On event on November 26th.
On behalf of the MTA, and The Children’s Hospital Charity, we thank you for your kindness and generosity.
