The UK Trade and Export Finance Forum takes place in London on November 23rd, organised by UK Export Finance.
The annual event, now in its sixth year, covers developments in trade finance with presentations, case studies, workshops and networking. The keynote speaker will be exports minister Lord Offord.
The Forum is organised UK Export Finance (the operating name of the government’s Export Credits Guarantee Department), which exists to support exporters. UKEF has been working successfully to increase its direct support to SMEs, an objective that has helped by the addition of its new General Export Facility (GEF).
EAMA recommends that engineering exporters be aware of UK and its finance products, that are now related to specific contracts and, with the GEF, to more general export development. We welcome feedback on any contact you have had with UKEF, or queries.
