Moulding Expo will highlight the importance and efficiency of the tool, pattern and mould making industry.
Tools and moulds are required in every industry in order to be able to manufacture high-quality products in large unit numbers. It is therefore becoming increasingly more important to organise the production process in an even more efficient and cost-effective way, and also take account of integrated solutions.
A key role in this respect is played by reliable and innovative tool construction partners with modern and highly automated production as well as corresponding experience and know-how. Leading tool, pattern and mould making companies will demonstrate their expertise and offer solutions for different branches of industry at Moulding Expo from 13 to 16 June 2023.
“We are looking forward to welcoming around 400 exhibitors at Moulding Expo in June 2023. These exhibitors will include the Champions League of the tool, pattern and mould making industry along with relevant technology suppliers. Product developers, tool buyers, plastics processors and operators of an internal or external tool, pattern and mould making facility should plan a visit to Moulding Expo,” said Florian Niethammer, Head of Trade Fairs & Events at Messe Stuttgart.
Under one roof at Moulding Expo, the exhibitors will present customised solutions for different industries – for example the automobile industry, the aerospace industry, the electrical engineering industry, medical technology, mechanical engineering and the photovoltaic industry.
As a first-time exhibitor at Moulding Expo, /H&B/ Electronic GmbH & Co. KG provides state-of-the-art solutions in the area of metal 3-D printing. “In our capacity as a supplier of 3-D printing services, we primarily target tool construction companies, mould makers, designers and plastics processors. We embrace trend topics such as sustainability and energy efficiency at an early stage when designing our tools so that our tools and those of our customers function with even more energy efficiency in series production. For us as a supplier of metal 3-D printing and engineering services, Moulding Expo represents a great opportunity to hold discussions with trade visitors and industry insiders, and also show how efficient the German and Page 2 of 2 European tool making industries are,” summarised Jan Bayerbach, Head of Development and Design at /H&B/ Electronic GmbH & Co. KG.
Innovative companies such as Schneider Form GmbH are taking tool construction to the next level by offering their customers integrated solutions at the product development stage. “Automotive is our strongest market segment. We are also involved in other areas such as medical technology. In order to be profitable, it is necessary to continuously optimise processes, embrace trend topics such as sustainability and also regularly survey markets – and do this all over the world. Since Schneider Form has a large portfolio of tools, it is important to find the right approach for every type and size of tool in order to achieve permanent success,” said Peter Bradtke, Sales Director at Schneider Form GmbH.
Another exhibitor, i.e. the Geiger Group, can look back on 60 years of success. The company has continued to develop further throughout its existence. Eva Söhnlein, Managing Director of the Geiger Group, stresses the need for a future-oriented strategy: “In addition to medical technology, our customers come from the automobile industry, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, audiological technology and the photovoltaic industry. We want to master future challenges together with our customers. Our objective is to offer integrated solutions which are both technologically mature and economically viable. We are looking forward to being able to present these solutions to top-notch trade visitors at Moulding Expo.”

About Moulding Expo
Whether a hidden champion or a major corporation, the best that the first-class international tool, pattern and mould making industry and its suppliers have to offer will meet at Moulding Expo.
The International Trade Fair for Tool, Pattern and Mould Making is divided into several exhibition areas. The focal point of Moulding Expo is the tool, pattern and mould making industry which is very user-oriented with its injection moulding tools, die-cast moulds and forming tools, as well as gauge construction and jig and fixtures manufacturing. The trade fair will also feature systems and services relating to plastics technology and metal working: from suppliers of machine tools, clamping devices, machining tools and measuring systems, and suppliers of materials, standard components and hot runner systems through to software companies.
